that the current slang they all think is brand new and cool is in fact the same slang that we were using in the heyday of CS?
Keep hearing my 13 year old saying 'epic fail' and lolz (which pissed me off) and wondering how long it takes words to filter from the geek subculture to the mainstream.

Well I have at least another 2 years to go before I hear of any epic lulz/pwnage 1337 speak. My kid has just figured out to count to ten with a bit of training, so not far off calling me a gaylord fagg0t in the grand scheme of things.
