wish i could play games at work....
If I understood your post right, when I say office I mean my home office, I work in retail and my office has a hugh safe and staff room attatched to it and I mainly stay on the shop floor
To all you lot who are struggling to get one of these...
try your local ASDA. yep its true, mate of mine just rang them, they have not got any on pre-order and they sell only on a first come first serve basis - the stock at our store here is due in late thursday so he will be there waiting for it to go on the shelf.
apparently the same is true for tesco, and maybe woolworths?

A mate of mine is a manager at Asda and Ive have been making enquiries re this and he rekons each store is getting 5-10 and the staff are having them, but he rekons they won't even get any as its not definate!!!!!
WANK no 360 for me even tho i oredred it 3 months ago, play are tossers, this has ruined my xmas as that was my only pressie well bigun anyway, fucked off raw style as we say here up north.
I feel your pain Barracuda
Ordered mine in august and not a sodding thing but they were kind enough to send me PGR360 now if only I had a console to play it on...
I had a mail fron Currys yesterday to say mine should be with me on the 10th as part of their staggered shipments.. Problem is that I think I only ordered it 'cos its a new console and think at the moment that the whole build up may be more exciting than the console itself and I dont know if I can be arsed. More than likely it'll sit under the screen as per my Xbox and Gamecube and not get used. I haven't touched either for months and the games I've bought hardly got used before being consigned to the back of the cupboard. The rest of my consoles are sat in the loft gathering dust.
Think I should have bought a new aquarium instead.
Barracuda wrote:Well then, I will buy your xbox off you for the price you paid and I will get you your new aqauirum with 20% off it!!!
(As long as we sell the one you want that is?)
oh, if it arrives I'll keep it no doubt. I have with everything else but I'm still at a loss whether its worthwhile. Shinier pallette and all that, but nothing much in the way of gameplay advances. I think that for all of Allards early posturing about gameplay and involvement that it'll end up aiming for the same demographic (mid-teen + males that assume gaming starts and ends with FPS and Racing games) that populates the Xbox1 world.
I think I'm more looking forward to the Revolution to bring back gaming in all its forms to the masses. I think it'll appeal to a greater number of non gamers, which I would say far outweigh those that call themselves hardcore gamers (or pubescent american wankers in my terminology).
As for multiplayer. Give me a SNES, Mario Kart, 3 mates and a shitload of beer sat around a TV over Xbox live anyday. Rose tinted specs maybe, but bloody good fun.
Thanks for the offer but if it arrives and I dont like it/keep it. then I'll be spending my money on a Aqua Medic rather than a Juwel (supply and demand and all that).

Oh yes
Perhaps the only thing to come to close to this for multi-player fun is 2v2 Pro Evo on the XBox, but we still have a SNES + Mario Kart ready to go.
