Being a massive fan of N.W.A back in the day I really didn't know whether to laugh or cry........ god I hope she doesn't do Express Yourself.

Personally I never really got in to early Gangster rap I always thought it was the downfall of the real Hip Hop culture so N.W.A's version has no special place in my B-Boy past. I was more east coast than west coast and was into the whole Hip Hop thing rather than just Rap. I used to DJ, breakdance/pop 'n lock and tag up inner city car parks all while carrying a very large getto blaster and a rolled up peice of lino.

Incidental I've been digging out my old Electro albums recently just to listen to some old school classics. Unfortunately I gave a few albums away about 10 years ago so I'm downloading the rest (some of them are worth quite a bit now.. bugger).... I did find thisthough!


BTW. does anyone have a full version of Ichiban Scratch by Chris "The Glove" Taylor that I could copy, I can't find it anywhere

I'm with you on that though - I'm more east coast. I think it's a cultural thing as I don't 'get' the gangsta thing, but I love the Beastie Boys.
