I'm not sure I'll ever bother with Vista unless I must so to be able to support end-users. Not that I've needed a Mac to support Mac users. Would be a good excuse though Linux with a Beryl enhanced desktop matches Aero for eye-candy and the applications I need have Linux ports or equivalents. Pretty much the only reason I bought a WinXP laptop is because the service tools I have are WinXP/Win2000 based and naturally I need to run them when at a customer's site.
