Thought Id cheer myself up a little, and arriving between 6 - 7:30am tomorrow is the following.

Intel Core 2 E6850 3Ghz 1333mhz (4MB cache)
Asus Striker extreme 680i mobo
2 x 8800GTS Superclocked 320MB DDR3 PCI-e GC's (SLI)
2 x 500GB Sata Western HDs
DVR-112DBK 18x DVDRW
2GB Corsair DDR2 PCS6400 non ECC, may get some more

Coolermaster Stacker 832 (sli).
22" Sammy LCD widescreen monitor
7.1 THX Cinema setup
Decent keyboard and mouse
Few more bits n bobs etc

Cant wait to 3dmark the beast!!! whooo!

Thought bioshock was an xbox360 title only?
I just built a new pc, but after reading that MS have just released a patch from dx10 to dx10.1 which makes all current dx10 technology redundant I am glad I waited. LOL

Bioshock will be fine on it, im currently running Supreme Commander (mr ooo im too good for PCs), in full everthing @ 1680 x 1050 and it ROCKS!

Stalker is also a good tester, again full everything, no issues.

It also runs sweet without SLi turned on

No way son, Vista is SHIT SHIT SHIT!
Dell are starting to sell laptops with XP now, they have had so many complaints / returns LOL! quality.

Just read Bioshock reccomended system spec from PCGAMER is half mine! MINT!, 95% in review! w00t, bring on the 24th!

Just hooked another widescreen LCD to play SC, man its MINT!

Although nothing to do with the subject of the thread may I also add I loathe Vista. So many call outs for "faulty" PCs which at first glance can be pinned down as driver issues... Anyway - that's one BEAST of a system!

Well,

After a week of playing BF2142, Stalker and Supreme Commander, I have found that one 8800 is enough to run all of them on max LOL! Think I may have over extimated how good the card actually is

The dual monitors setup is cool, but you cannot run SLi when doing it so I was a little worried about how well Supreme Commander would run...

Well worth the dollar!! bioshock on Friday!! w00t! thats gonna test the card

Oh I have The Bourne Ultimatum on DVD, not watched it yet though.

One movie that I did watch over the weekend is Shooter, I must say what a wicked movie man!!! deffo in my top 10 of all time!!!

Enjoy your new rig Worm. You'll have no problem with Bioshock - 1 of your cards is better than my whole X1800 Crossfire setup and I run bioshock at full settings with no problems.

Can't help but think Bioshock is ever so slightly over hyped though.

Oh I should add I'm on Vista x64 ..

I've been waiting for Bioshock almost since I finished playing System Shock II and certainly waiting for over 2 years ... and I also can't help but thinking it isnt the game I wanted.

Its a fantastic game but ... I still played WoW tonight 48 hours after I got the game ...

Well, Your right son.

Bioshock runs sweet on one card LOL. The graphics are mint! I love the plasmas in conjunction with standard weapons. Keep having flashbacks from ye old HL2 gravity Gun, the teleconesys (SP?) is mint!!! rarr

Mint game, been playing it all weekend, Love the big daddies LOL. Mwwwmmmmmmm "thump" "thump" "thump", come on mr bubbles....

Just got to Archadia (or something like that)
