Absolutely fan-bloody-tastic game. Some reviewers are saying that the graphics let it down!!! the water effects on Direct X9 cards have to be seen to be believed

Anyhoo, enough hype. Just a couple of quick questions.

1. Does anyone play this on hardened? I started on this and I am on the russian levels now, but I feel its becoming very "Trial and Error" stop start. Is it particularly difficult on the 1st russian level?

2. Anyone want to play online? any ip addresses for servers where us "familiar faces" can meet up?

I am playing this on hardened (as a first go as well, I can't stand running through levels feeling as if I am Neo ... /me bursts into tears with the shattered dreams of it all)

I am still stuck on the bridge mission ... damned if I am not getting my arse handed to me on about the 6th or 7th tank ... I am spawn death spawn death spawn death reboot

I found that one REALLY trickey. Heres my handy tip.

Start the level over. When you get to the flak gun, look towards the bridge directly behind the gun and theres a bank before the river. Get into that bank and crouch , look ahead near the fence and to the wall on the right and try keep those pesky jerries back.

Then when the CO shouts a tank warning, get into the flak gun and get it down quick. Get off the flak gun and try if you can to take the snipers hiding directly behind, at the far building - but ultimately, get back down that bank as quick as you can.

Only way I could find to do this one.

closer to 3 years, but im not sure that this web page has been here that long. I only came to DVF as someone (jamie I think) offered us use of your server for a clan match (ICBWNB) when ours was down.

As for the bridge mission, it took me a few try's on vet i just simply stopped in the trenches around by the flak gun, and also i had a panzer faust as well whcih are located around the back of the pill box, i just then hung out by the flak gun and shot men who were gettin close to me and took out the tanks with the flak gun and if i missed i just simply use the panzer, repeat above steps untill airborne arrive

Well I got past that level - and got to the escaping the dam on the truck level and have now given in ... the game is annoying.

You progress in the game by learning where the enemy kill you and knowing that you don't die there next time.

Any game based on random death sucks ... pity coz I enjoyed the levels I played.

i got stuck on that, the bit where u gotta deal with the dive bommers did me over untill earlier

Its ok online, had a quick bash today, once you get into it, it gets great, bit hard to start with
