Far Cry - Stuck. 1.1.patch is out too.

Im on the level Archive, just as you enter where there is a big lake. Loads of people shooting at me, a lift to go down to the water, and a forklift truck. Just cant seem to get further on than this without dying.

Also 1.1 patch is available now, about 26 mb.

Just done this part myself, just use the binoculars to see where they are all hiding, then snipe em all with the sniper rifle.

I'm stuck at the level with the communications boat (in fact the level is called "Boat")...I kill everyone on board and then that cowboy redneck (Crow) comes with the helicopter...I have rocket propelled grenades but it doesn't seem to have any affect on this super chopper...

I found dodging and hiding, then running to the static machine gun helped on this level. Is it where you climb up the ladder to the top level of the boat?

Er no I'm talking about a later level....

But it doesn't matter I've done it now

After I plant the bomb on the communication ship run and jump over the side and swin toward the bank beneath the cliff with the skinny trees. Make sure you have collected all the ammo and everything from the top cabin before hand. Then find a tall bush and crouch in it. When Crow comes in the chopper you shoot all your ammo at him then finish him off with a rocket ...you won't get to kill him he just flies away. while your in the bush he can't see you for some reason so that will leave you free to take shot at him, remember to shoot at him not the chopper.

I did this bit by hiding behind the shipwreck on the beach nearby, pretty damn hard!

What spec machines are you fellas using to run this ?

I've got :
P4 3.2 Gig
Geforce FX 5600 256mb
160GB hard drive (running at 7200 rpm)
1 Gig of RAM

And the game dictates that I can only run on Medium settings ?

Then If I hit a room with loads of people in I get what appears to be major lag in single player.

Anyone else suffered from this ?

it's ur GFX m8 that card is naff my own card will out preform ur's and mine only a Ge-force 4 ti4200

Radeons are going nice n cheap now as u got the better cards making their way in atm

Finished it today after 2 months on hard. Immediately restarting on the fabled "adaptive AI" mode.
