Bronson from clan beaver...

I was playing on your server and someone or many people,(I didnt pay attention) said that I am cheating with awp.

AWP
I have awp and pistol, I have this cool button which was made by HL
its called LAST INVENTORY

I press it, it switches to last gun I used.

its perfectly legit thing?! huh?! yes it is.

ok, so there were the times when people could shoot really fast with awp by using quickswitch aka (also known as) last inventory.

but, about 2-3 months ago steam added a delay to awp (1 second about) so you cant shoot fast even though you quickswitch. A LOT OF PEOPLE got annoyed, but it didnt help, the game changed for good, now the amazing awpers were taken back by a step because they have to wait that delay after quickswitch.

SO THERE IS NO CHEAT THERE, STEAM ADDRESSED THAT PROBLEM
AND ITS GONE NOW.

shoot awp--delay---shoot again

shoot awp--quickswitch (delay) --- shoot again

you were saying I did something wrong. If this is the thing you are talking about then A) You guys are wrong
B) I am mistaken on the thing you blame me for doing

show me a site that says its illegal / cheat

every player in the world uses that. I play alot cs and take it quite seriously, I make strategies for our clan, and follow the cs scene, I watch alot hltv demos and live matches. Everyone there uses it, nothing wrong with it.

please clear this thing up for me, or for yourselves.

I am now looking for a server I can play mostly on (public)
for fun, I was hoping its yours, but then you say I do something wrong with awp, someone said I can shoot faster, gives an advantage.

try yourself!

get AWP/scout and pistol, press last inventory and try to shoot immediately, NOTHING WILL HAPPEND, you get a delay, you cant shoot, then fire.

simple as that. noway thats a cheat.

but if you say its your rule, I think thats just crazy and wierd, and I will move on to another server...its not like yours is the only one around

I would read your drivel but quite frankly it hurts my eyes. Would it hurt to use a little grammar or perhaps real words from the English language? I guarantee you it helps if you actually want us to read what you write.

You are quite obviously insane.

Look at the furious e-mail you have typed over a basic accusation which is often made, and people don't go to your lengths to prove their innocence... which makes me think... maybe the lady doest protest too much!

Now chill out and stop being daft mate... you must have more important things to get worked up about surely... it's only a game.

aight, here is RTG from beaver clan.

I was there when you were complaining about it, whoever it was.
Bronson is absolutely right, there is no more such thing as QUIKswitch, since it is no longer quiker..

they added a delay to awp (1-2 secs) wich makes pulling out pistol and switching back to awp by pushing lastinv 2 times, not faster then just keeping awped and stayed scoped. no cheating at all if someone thinks so

i was also doing the exact same thing and i was probably killing more people with awp at that time then bron but still u complained about it to bron and nothing to me

. maybe didnt see me or w/e.

and no one here is pissed, just confused. so we came here to talk about it and get it straight. we all chill...

and badgers i dont know what the hell your talking about but bron or me doesnt cheat. and so what if it is a game, we take this shit very seriously... so its not "just" a game to us. reply something more usefull next time.

they said ingame that its a cheat!! OMG??
as I said, please provide proof of this and I WILL STOP using it, cuz I never cheated or will I ever cheat, unless I loose my mind or something. :|

so yeah, I am open to discussion, but please before you comment, read first, and think what you are saying.

I havnt been on the server this evening to witness this but I would like to say that yes your right......... we are not 50 year old business men, but we aint 10 year old kids either.

and barracuda you dont need to be on server to witness it, I posted it, I use quickswitch, like most of you do (wild guess). If you dont..then wow.

I really couldn't care less TBH, but the way your acting is like a ten year old.

We as a clan have been around for a long time and have delt with a lot of "people" like yourself, we get bored now, at first it was funny, not anymore.

Its one of the rules which we have adopted as a clan. With the amount of cheats around - and dont take it that I am calling you a cheat by the way- it would be very easy for someone to use the awp reload trick, then claim its a valid tactic. Quick swapping is great, I use it myself all the time much to the annoyance of many players, however the awp deagle reload exploit, which is what it is, we dont allow. Why do you think they 'fixed' it in the first place? Because its an exploit of the game engine. Anyhow regardless, its in our rules, we dont like it and we dont allow it. If you dont like it then fine. Lots of other poeple here dont seem to have a problem sticking by our rules.

Using a dealge then fast switching to an awp shooting, and then changing back to deagle again. The shot used to nearly always go where the deagle aimed, but with the power of an awp. Instant kill. Also works the other way round, shooting an awp, then quickswapping back to a pistol, then back to an awp again to get a faster reload.

Yes, I thank you all for your enlightning and incredibly informational replies.

You made it clear: It is your rule: NO QUICKSWITCH WITH AWP

I accept that. It is your server, make what rules you want.
Just wanna say that you are enforcing a rule that does you no good.

Since there is absolutely no advantage in quickswitch anymore.
Do some research, I'd love if some of you proved me wrong! wouldnt i look stupid.. well i do already cuz i posted so angrily and with an attitude.

I apologize for it, I still dont understand your rule, but I gotta live with it, and find another server. (shouldnt be too hard..since your server is the only one i have ever heard having this rule)

both with awp and pistol

shoot same time BANG!

other one quickswitch and shoot

other one just stay with awp and shoot when u can

you FIRE AT SAME TIME (depending ofcourse on the players speed to click the button, but basically you dont gain anything by quickswitch)

But the delay on that now means attempting the AWP fastswitch to skip the reload animation is now impossible (they really should solve this by adding a bolt pulling animation when you pull it out like on the M3 with it's slide and stop the complaints).

The other way round is possible, less accurate due to the delay and the possibility of the target moving during that delay, but still possible and bad.

Either way the only way to stop this is simply to just let the bolt pull when firing and none of this would ever come up. Theres no need to storm off Bronson as you are missing out on a terribly good server, just don't do anything like quickswitching as there is no point anyway and enjoy

I have a feeling that in the next or a future update it is going to change.
