well then this is weird... they added a delay to awp becuz of that! doing that awp > pistol > awp thing (wich we did) isnt any faster anymore, maybe even slower i wouldnt know.

so its like same switching m4 > pistol > m4... that would be illegal too then

and for the deagle/awp thing u say there. Me and bron arent even good enough to do that. and even if we could, the delay there is now makes that totally not do-able now.

why should they change anything since there isnt anything u can do with quickswitch that gives u an advantage!

and yeah, i really wanted to play on this server.
But the quickswitch is a habit i have, cant get rid of it,
and i wont, since there isnt anything wrong with it..cept

dark wulf, u say there is no point in doing the quickswitch, then why is there a reason to forbid it??

quickswitch doesnt give an advantage!
simple as that. Half the world went crazy when they changed that.
All the great awpers swore they would quit cs.

and jamie you are wrong, you dont reload faster if you quickswitch.
maybe it skips the animation, but has absolutely no efect on the game itself, you shoot just as fast as a guy who doesnt use quickswitch with pistol.

If quickswitching has no advantage then why would there be a need to do it or to use it why not just shoot the gun normally!!

Well unless you need to change to your pistol to fend of the SEAL...

3) Now for the reasons for quickswtiching, there's two big reasons. First people did it to strafe faster after firing, you move very slow with the awp out. The basic strat was to fire, switch, strafe back somewhere(usually behind a wall), then take out the awp again, strafe back out and fire.

The awp is a heavy weapon, which gives you a speed disadvantage when carrying it. So doing something to avoid this DESIGNED property of the weapon is an exploit. So there IS an unfair advantage to quickwitching from awp > pistol. We are not saying you installed cheats, but making use of game expliots is a form of cheating. Just like skywalking and boosting through maps. Just because they never fixed some or all of these mistakes does not make it ok to exploit them.

We are just asking that if you wish to continue playing on our server, please do not quick switch. Also calling all the admins n00bs is not a good way to win an argument.

I dont care about it tbh, I was responding to your request. Not fussed wether you stay or not. I was correct in what I said about it used to reload you quicker, thats what they fixed in the update which caused such an uproar.

look i've only read the 1st post atm ,but from the looks of things bron and rtg have been complaining again

guys you've done this on CRO and rtg got a ban for it

look as a m8 and a fellow beaver member i advise you to calm down,have fun ,play

if ppl wana complain bout awp then let em ,if it bothers you then leave

Bronson i asked you to stop as you where the one i watched, sorry RTG if i had been watching you too i would have asked you to stop too.

This is our rule and as you said last night you were goin to go as you didn't like our rule but then you spent another 10 minutes on the server, as you have said their are many, many, many more servers out there and as we have a nice community here which you can see i personally find your contribution to it not wanted and would rather that you were not part of it.

It is our choice to make our server public and it is the money of others that allows you to play counterstrike, maybe as you have a few members in your clan that maybe you should look at getting your own server where you can have your own rules and then maybe you'll find out what type of problems we as admins have to deal with.

I only asked you to stop you didn't have to give me back chat and make the situation worse. If you take Counter-strike seriously i'm supprised you don't have your own server by now and i'm supprised that you show such an immature attitude towards the game.

I bore of guests coming into my house and telling me that my fridge is in the wrong place and that I only put 3 ice cubes in their drink instead of the accepted 4. And the salmon is the wrong shade of pink and how the seat is not their accepted level of firmness and how I use peach toilet roll and not green.

I normally kick them out and never invite them in again. And then if they call me a cnut for asking them to stop having a go at my hospitality I never invite them back.

IE. Shut up or leave. I personally have no problems in ensuring that you don't disrupt the game of people who actually PAY to play Counter Strike on their own server.

BTW: Does Beaver have a server? If so, have you considered playing on it rather than on DVF's and CRO's and then just moaning about all of the decisions made by admins?

guys why don't you accept it? or get another server? it's not big enough an issue to cause such a fuss over....bottom line:
dvf pay for the server, you don't. If they wanted to they could play militia non stop for 4 hours in practice for an important match, because it's their server......oh wait, they already did that
