esco were quite good, in fact they were the one i was going with.
I think i may put the mrs as the policyholder for now till i get rid of my points and accident!

In fact Bothn Tesco and NUD are both the same price aprt from 1.25

that website doesn't work for new drivers, the quotes my friends were given as the lowest were £200-600 more than the ones they found by themselves.

I found the best way for a poor young graduate such as myself to drive a car insured...
Get your mom to put it in her name and then allow you to drive it.
I pay £22 a month.
I know you dont get those no claims discounts etc but i dont really care.. Thats all there to entice you to get insurance and if you compare the diffence you guys are being quoted and i am paying... there is like a grand difference!! Beat that!

Churchill were cheapest for me. For new drivers they also recognise Pass Plus and gave me £58 back when I finally phoned through the details several months after the cover started. Their actual quote was lower through their website than a price comparison search engine too. So don't believe the Confused / AutoTrader sites completely.
