Labour are the only ones who know how to run the economy...under any other party you would have ended up with high inflation, huge job losses, high inflation all costing a lot more than any tax rises to date

Sorry beg to differ - whats the government got to do with inflation? The BOE now has full control.

Gordon Brown is a crafty economist sure, but hes not the only man in any cabinet that can run an economy.

We have done MISERABLY on:

1. the PSBR
2. The Balance Of Payments (this is absolutely dire at the moment and the death of rover will impound it, we have nearly nothing to export nowadays).
3. International Debt.

Sure, our economy is booming for the 2% but for the rest of us, we will have to pay for the above 3 failures, not the 2% that are near enough tax exempt.

I was making a subtle piss take on the English used in his post. I think that's fair.

The sad thing is that the majority of people dont think like this - they still have the infant mentality of "Me me me" if its not in my benefit then its a bad thing. Let anyone worse off than me sort themselves out "I did" type mentality. grrr ROAR
