found it, however i have much higher HK, contribution points and standing than most corporals. for some reason rank also depends on level. which means people with half as many contribution points etc are higher rank than me

Hello guildies!

Nice to see the guild taking shape last night - now all we've gotta do is make sure we don't send any strange and spurious tells via guild chat and we'll be sorted

Don't think I'll be on tonight (maybe for a wee while after 12, not sure) but we should sort out some kinda guild meet-up at some point. Horde hunting anyone?

SO pleased we've finally got this going, was great to make use of the guild chat last night, great fun.

So yeah, what now? We could do with some more members for a raid - any other DVFers fancy splashing out on WoW??

Anyone up for a wander into horde territory (South Barrens) this evening? Got a quest in an instance there and need some backup - apologies to Mackey for pestering him about this all the time. It's also a nice chance to enjoy to bleak and unremitting scenery

Maybe a trip to shimmering flats as well - plenty of early to mid lvl 30 quests to do there I think? Open to other day trip suggestions of course...

Had fun tonight into the barrens then down to gadgetzan with some horde bashing on the way (and they bashed us once to)

Whens the next one? think a couple of the group may have the pvp bug now

I'm not being funny at all here - but neuro you better change your name before they scrub your character.

I got my character scrubbed for being called:

cplcarrot and thepatrician.

I have the email somewhere.

Heres a copy of the mail - unfortunately it also happened AFTER I sold the character! (ooops)

Its worth mentioning that the "offence" that resulted in the deleted character was posting a complaint on the tech support forums.

Great game, shame about the hitlers that seem to GM it.

I especially like the final line - do not reply as it will get an automated response. Not too different from any GM fault call then

Surely the second offence was the second time they had found you with an illegally named character?

CplCarrot being the first?

nah, they just rename your chars if they dont have a warning on them and for naming its 1 offence PER character.

Blizzard have to go down as the most arrogant company I have ever dealt with.

Deleting a character , giving you no right to reply and additionally refusing to refund your money when you cancel your account DUE TO THIS - is unacceptable to me.
