Am I the only one that remembers Episode 1 and 2? I would be excited if it wasn't for those two prior films.

I am not half as bothered as I was over Return of The King.

I remember them, they were ace! (I actually watched them last week, sad I know, but I wanted a recap)

1) Darth Maul, good starting point, some strange bits, remember its NOT following on from anything, its the first one, alot of people I know fell into that trap, assuming it would be like 4/5/6.

2) Great plot, plenty of action, no holes left open for Episode III (Being honest I actually enjoyed it more the 3rd time of watching it, I missed loads when I watched it at the cinema).

The acting can be poor, the plot can be pants! it's still Star Wars, and for that I love it!

I NEVER watch a movie with any intention to critisize it. It ruins your overall perception of a movie, and you will end up not liking it before you even watch it. I HATE CRITICS, ALWAYS WILL, I dont see the point in them.

Actually Return of the King was (maybe is) one of the best movies ive seen yet. But Star Wars holds a "Special" place in my Heart, for that reason alone it ROCKS!

Given that Star Wars Episode 4 was actually a pile of pants I really shouldn't have expected anything better really.

Is it working? Has Pete exploded yet?

It's quite funny how they are calling tonights performance the "premier" when it was actually shown a week ago yesterday (Sunday) in London for the familes/friends of the english production staff.
No Bull - this can be proved.

Still I wasn't lucky enough to see it but can't wait the same as everyone else :)

Attack of the clones is my second favourite star wars movie after Empire strikes back.

Phantom menace was terrible though, for me.

They were all bollocks except for Empire...which wasn't directed by Lucas.
See a pattern here?

Also - WE ALL KNOW HOW IT ENDS! What's the point?

I think the orginal trilogy was complete in itself. In fact Hidden Fortress was complete before Lucas ripped it off to make Star Wars in the first place.

And to be complete he'd have to do the three he envisaged after Return Of The Jedi.

Come on now Woz - Yes Hidden Fortress influenced George Lucas and yes there are similarities - but only vague ones.

Kuniswa (sorry dont know how to spell it) is responsible for influencing the ENTIRE MOVIE INDUSTRY - since he made films in the very very early years - including seven samurai which influenced Magnificent Seven to highlight the most notable - and the "similarities" are far greater in that link.

To say that George has somehow "ripped off / plagurised" is just too harsh - Kuniswa (or whatever) was such an influencial filmmaker that you could levy that arguement against most of the Western Cinema world as we know it.

Its like saying anyone who followed the Beatles in music "ripped them off" by using a drumbeat.

Besides, don't corporate capitalist pig dogs such as yourself encourage "re-use" of materials to decrease costs and increase profits>

Yes, but there is a difference between "re-use" and plagiarism.

I'm not implying anything.
