Anyone catch the 1st part of this series last night? Surprisingly good. For all his annoying smugness Mr Ross does seem to know his stuff and genuinely like the films he's talking about.

He's nuts about the stuff, and it's genuine alright. Did you not see his really early series about movies? They were extremely good - stuff about John Waters and Mondo films.
Also - didn't you see him when he had Gorrilaz on his show? He met Jamie Hewlett and said he was welling up at one stage - well I'm certain he wasn't joking - he's pretty passionate about comics too.

Woz - I think my current views of Mr Ross are clouded somewhat by his chat show persona (never listen to his radio show). He comes does come across as being passionate and genuine when talking about films, I just wish he would do more of that stuff than the embarrass-the-celebrities thing that he's also very good at.
